QuickBooks Error 12057 is a payroll error that usually takes place when the user is attempting to update QuickBooks Software or QB Payroll Services.   • Go to the Help bar.
  • Select Internet Connection Setup.
  • Mark the box as “Use my computer’s Internet connection settings to establish a connection when this application accesses the Internet”.
  • Choose Next > Done.

Solution 2: Check Advanced Connection Settings.

  • Check the Internet Connection and the settings
  • Click on the ‘Advanced connection settings’
  • Now Use the SSL 3.0,and the Use SSL 2.0 are checked
  • Press on applying and press the OK option
  • Now shutdown the QuickBooks Software
  • Restart software and update QuickBooks Payroll Services.

Solution 3: Correct network settings.

Internet settings can be used to fix the error.

  • Open the Connection setup from the Internet menu
  • Now confirm the network settings to manage the ‘System ’

This process helps to remove the error.

Solution 4: Verify Internet Security Protocols.

  • The Internet connection is set to use the system’s internet connection and click on NEXT
  • Now go to Internet properties window and authenticate SSL 3.0 and SSL 2.0
  • Press on the OK button.
  • Verify the internet connection and internet explorer.

Solution 5: Restore the PC to a previous time.

  • Firstly, start your computer and log -in as an Admin
  • Now click the ‘Start button’ and choose ‘All Programs, accessories, system tools and press system restore option.
  • Meanwhile, click ‘Restore my computer to a previous time’ option and press Next.
  • Choose the most recent restore point and go to the list and click ‘Restore Point’ and press Next.
  • Press on the Confirmation Window
  • Lastly, restart the computer if the restoration gets completed.
